DAY 1
Embark on an unforgettable Wine Tour as you check in to your luxurious 4-star cottage nestled in the picturesque High Season farm, located in the heart of the enchanting Hemel Aarde Valley. This idyllic setting is just a stone’s throw away from numerous award-winning wine estates.
Arriving at 13:00, you will soon embark on an exhilarating adventure. Prepare to experience the true essence of Hamilton Russell’s Estate vineyard as you journey to the top of Rotary Way. A captivating 2 km downhill walk through fragrant mountain fynbos awaits, allowing you to indulge in the exceptional flavors of their exquisite wines. Notably, Hamilton Russell stands proudly as one of Africa’s most southerly wine estates, blessed by its close proximity to the sea. Its pioneering efforts in viticulture and winemaking have made it a gem within the cool and maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, tucked away behind the charming fishing village of Hermanus.
After this remarkable vineyard experience, the group will be transported back to the farm, where an evening of relaxation awaits beneath the twinkling stars. Delight in a sumptuous dinner that will surely leave you craving for more.

Your first stop is the renowned La Vierge Winery, followed by a visit to the esteemed Bosman Family Winery where you’ll have the opportunity to savor exquisite wines at the charming Frame House. As you continue your journey, meander through scenic horse farms, fragrant orchards, and lush vineyards until you reach the magnificent Hasher family vineyard. Conclude this memorable day with a walk past Newton Johnson winery for a wine tasting and a short walk back to High Season Farm (Distance: 10km)
